Apartment building
Pavlíček, Jiří ; Dohnal, Jakub (referee) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of an apartment building. It is a detached basement building, which is located on a rectangular plot with flat terrain. The building is designed with four floors and one underground floor. This new building is equipped with a lift for 8 people. In the underground floor there is a technical background of the building and a storage cellars for individual apartments. There are 12 flats with different disposition and size of floor areas. The load-bearing structural system is diagonal. The lower structure is made of a waterproof concrete, the so-called "white tub" which consists of a reinforced concrete foundation slab and reinforced concrete basement walls. The upper structure is built of Porotherm system, which is insulated with ETICS facade contact system with basalt wool insulation boards. Ceiling structures are designed as monolithic reinforced concrete slabs and the staircase is built as a reinforced concrete monolithic three-armed. The façade is shaped according to the partially opened loggias. The last floor recedes from the face of the building and creates spacious terraces. Holes are filled with wooden windows. The roofing of the apartment building is solved by a single-layer flat roof with a classical layer arrangement and a hydro isolation layer made of asphalt strips.

Coworking center in Olomouc - Slavonín
Bubniak, Denis ; Kalánek, Jiří (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to assess the selected details from the structural and thermo-technical point of view in the design of a co-working centre building in the Olomouc-Slavonín city district. It is a building with one underground and two above-ground floors. In the basement there is a collective garage for 88 parking spaces, technical facilities. Above-ground floors of the building are divided into 3 blocks. In the western part - block A there are office premises with a cafe and sanitary facilities, in block B purely office premises with sanitary facilities and in block C a gym with sanitary facilities. PP and 1. NP are made of reinforced concrete skeleton, 2. NP is a wooden building made of solid wooden panels of crosslaminated timber. The façade of the building is designed as ventilated in the 1st floor and in part 2. NP. In the case of wooden panels, they are insulated with a contact insulation system. The work also includes the project documentation of the new new building and the technical equipment of the building. The project was implemented in ArchiCad. The project documentation was prepared in accordance with the applicable legal and technical regulations.
Issues of design and testing of waterproof concrete fot tunnel lining
Merta, Michael ; Voves, Jiří (referee) ; Hubáček, Adam (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of waterproof concrete and testing its properties. The theoretical part is conceived through research on existing knowledge relating to waterproof concrete. Emphasis is placed on the possibility of using a waterproof concrete for structures, such is e.g. tunnel lining. The experimental part is focused on the laboratory testing of waterproof concrete. Particulary examined was the effect of various admixtures as a partial replacement of cement. Monitored was the development of compressive strength and flexural strength, development of temperature during hydration in the early stages of maturation of concrete, water resistance of concrete, concrete surface resistance to water and chemical de-icing agents, as well as development of shrinkage during concrete maturation.

The building is based on the base plate. The work contains a technical report of the object, a closer and broader situation of transport relations, a detailed statement of acreage, technological regulation for the implementation of the waterproof concrete foundation, drawing and report of construction site equipment, schedule, machine design, control and test plan, safety and health at work, then a variant assessment of construction machinery.
The possibility of using admixtures for waterroof concrete
Roháček, Lukáš ; Voves, Jiří (referee) ; Hubáček, Adam (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is mainly focused on additions, that have impact on water impermeability and other properities of fresh and hardened concrete. This issue is also described in short section, which is took from foreign reaserch. Thesis further discusses about the standards and regulations that determine, what properties should have waterproof constructions. Experimental part is showing influence of fly ash, slag and silica fume on conzistency, hydratation heat development, strenght, water impermeability, frost resistance and volume changes of the concrete.
Civic amenities building
Baroň, Alexandr ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The first part of this diploma thesis is to design an energy-efficient hotel with restaurant and car parking. The second part is also to create an assessment of the energy performance of the building and usage of energy from renewable sources. Hotel is designed with the idea of „smart buildings“ which means, that all the technological background is controlled by the main computer, which also harvests data to achieve a minimum energy use and financial demand and maximum comfort and safety at the same time by controlling the connected technology. By placing on a sloped terrain in the center of Brno, the basement floor can be used as car parking. The roof of this building is flat, green, with modifications for placing solar panels, whose design is part of this work. The third part of this diploma thesis is the spatial acoustics of the conference room on the first ground floor.
